It all began as a sketch drawn by J.J Abrams on a napkin one evening.

A deceptively simple design comprising of little more than a ball with a dome on top, but Abram’s novel idea for a droid (which he named BB-8) was quickly brought to life by special effects wizard Neal Scanlan and became both an engineering marvel and one of the most exciting and innovative practical effects in recent movie history.

Abrams and his creative team also managed to develop a droid that was packed with charm and personality. BB-8 was the little robot that captured the hearts of everyone who saw him – an adorable new member of the Star Wars universe!

BB-8 is a BB Unit Astromech droid, a friend, and companion to Resistance pilot Poe Dameron. In Star Wars: The Force Awakens we saw him roll adorably into action alongside Poe, Rey, and Finn as they fight The First Order.

From the bottom of his base to the tip of his antenna, BB-8 stands 9″ tall, and he is simply overflowing with the little intricacies that you have come to expect from Sideshow’ Premium Format Figures.

Sideshow have captured every subtle nuance of BB-8’s ingenious design, from the surprisingly soulful and character filled “eyes” of his photoreceptor, to the stained, scratched and dirty panels of his spherical body, each little detail helps to make this chirpy little Astromech come to life and steal your heart.

Both BB-8’s head and torso feature integrated LED light up features, bringing another layer of screen-accurate detail as well as added visual charm to this adorable BB unit.

For Australian Customer:

  • All standard-size orders are sent via AusPost with tracking.
  • PO/Parcel Locker addresses are allowed.
  • Express Post shipping is available at checkout.
  • Oversized Items will be shipped via Toll IPEC by default. Other shipping couriers are available upon request.
  • Same Day/Next Business Day Delivery is available in select Metro Sydney, Wollongong, Central Coast, and Canberra areas. Eligibility is based on your postcode. This method does not accept AusPost PO box/shop addresses. In rare instances where same-day delivery is not possible, items will be delivered the next business day. Please note, that refunds are not issued in these cases.

We offer free shipping for the majority of items on our website. However, for items that exceed 22kg or 0.25 cubic meters and are being shipped to remote areas (our warehouse is located in NSW), there may be a surcharge applied. The specific surcharge will depend on the packaging size determined by the manufacturer after the product is released. We will contact the receiver if a surcharge is required upon dispatch.

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer free shipping for heavy items that cannot be shipped with AusPost. These items require alternative shipping methods, which come with additional costs that we are unable to absorb. However, we will always strive to provide our customers with the most cost-effective shipping options available for their heavy items.

DISPATCH

Once your order payment is confirmed, we aim to dispatch your in-stock item within 2 business days. Orders are shipped directly from our Sydney warehouse.

The typical delivery time-frames within Australia are*:

- Sydney: 1 - 2 working days
- Melbourne & Brisbane & Canberra 2 - 3 working days
- Rest of Australia: 3 - 7 working days

SECURE POSTAGE

When sending out each order, we ensure that they are packed and wrapped carefully to prevent damages to its contents. We ship our orders using one of the following postal services:

- Australia Post (eParcel)
- EMS (International)

Both services include tracking information. This ensures that you can track your order's delivery from the moment it leaves our warehouse. If you're not home at the time of delivery, the delivery man may leave a card with pickup details from your local post office/collection point.

RETURN

All returns/exchange enquiries must be received by Sugo Toys within 14 days of you receiving your goods at your nominated delivery address.
