Product Description
The name Wukong had many embodiments, however none of them unfolds as the story today. When the starving monkey was one step away from becoming a Yao, he met the avatar of the real Monkey King who kindly reached a helping hand and told him to seek for the very own answer of his life.
As he began to finish good deeds and named himself as the Monkey King, Wukong realized that there’s no way will human being willing to accept the help of a Yao. Yet he vow to be a human, seeing this as the only way of fulfilling his life purpose, he cut his tail, torn off his fur, kept his mask on his face at all times.
This 1/12 scale articulated figure of the martial artist monk Wukong measures around 6.5 inches tall and features real fabric clothing, alternate hands, monkey mask, beaded necklace, 2 bananas, and his monk staff. This deluxe version also comes with an alternate monkey head sculpt, golden palm effect, 2 ape forearms with fists, wind effects, and 2 extra staffs.

Pros:
- Lots of accessories 10/10. The additional in the deluxe version is well worth it.
- Articulation is good. I'd say 8/10 because there is no joint for the toe and ankle range is limited.
- Very pose-able with nice smooth joints 10/10.
- Sculpt details is awesome. Especially the hair on head and large arms 10/10.
Cons:
- Scale is 1/12 but it is bigger than Japanese action figures (e.g. Figma/SHF). It matches better with some US action figures (e.g. Marvel Legends/Black Series) however, too small for other lines like Mythic Legions.
- There are expansion effects that are not available in Sugo.
Overall, it is a very good figure to play and take photos with. If this is cheaper (like $50 each) then I would get more copies (maybe another 4) to make the Wu Kong clone effect.
Highly recommanded.
