Unlike the spindly battle droids, Droidekas are designed with one sole function in mind: the complete annihilation of their targets. Equipped with immense twin blasters and capable of generating a protective deflector shield, these destroyer droids can envelope themselves in a shield while sacrificing mobility. Although slow on their three-legged gait, Droidekas can transform into a faster, disk-shaped form.
