Kizuna Ai in the familiar appearance has become a pretty and beautiful Japan doll figure.

Carefully hand-drawn, beautifully sparkling eyes, and colorful flower decorations are carefully finished. The elegant gesture gives a sense of profundity, and it is a supreme dish. The costume prototype was created by checkered puppet master “Akisaki Yamazaki”. By adding elements of the dress without sticking to the typical dressing style, he smartly expressed the line of the kimono centered on hem turning.

The fabric of the furisode part is dyed by “kata Yuzen”. In order to express the picture feather pattern that connects the patterns even across the sewing line, FuRyu repeated the design prototype.

These fabrics were dyed by Nishimura Shoji Shoten, a long-established textile merchant in Kyoto, at the Yuzen factory in Kyoto. One type is used per color, and by repeating it multiple times, one picture emerges. Then, it is completed through a process of fixing the color by steaming, washing with water, and straightening wrinkles. In this case, 13 colors of furisode with “peony” and “cherry blossom” patterns are used, and furisode with “hydrangea” and “butterfly” patterns are dyed using 14 colors.

Among them, FuRyu also use gold dye that shines modestly everywhere. FuRyu are particular about white fabric, and use a high-class fabric called rinzu with a ground pattern woven into it. The expression on which the white fabric crest emerges from the vivid pattern dyed with Yuzen has a taste that is exactly like a reproduction of old cloth. The fabric, which has been dyed with attention to the material and time and effort, gives off a unique deep color.
